Hello there!

I'm Camryn Sudimick, and I am a University of Maine undergraduate student studying Wildlife Ecology. I have with a passion for environmental education, conservation, and community science efforts. I am particularly drawn to the ways people notice, understand, and care about the natural world.

Much of my time is spent in places like Nutting Hall (our campus's Forestry & Wildlife building), the library, and outdoor spaces on campus (Littlefield Garden is my go-to spot when the flowers are in bloom!)

Some of my favorite experiences have been working with environmental education programs and community science efforts. Through these experiences, I’ve seen how early exposure and direct interactions can shape how people relate to wildlife.

I’m especially interested in drawing attention to overlooked species and challenging negative perceptions of misunderstood species. I am excited to share how hands-on learning, educational opportunities, and community science projects can help people feel more connected to the world around them and inspire them to take meaningful action.
